What it is
Dunaliella salina extract is an extract of Dunaliella salina, a single-celled green microalga that lives in very salty waters and is known for its high carotenoid content. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, masks and sun care products.
