An emollient ester derived from olive oil fatty acids.
What it is
Ethylhexyl olivate is the ester of 2-ethylhexanol and the fatty acids of olive oil. CosIng lists it as skin conditioning.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions, body oils, cleansing oils and hair care.
Limits of interpretation
