Geranyl acetate

A fragrance substance with a fruity, rosy scent.

What it is

Geranyl acetate is an ester found in essential oils such as citronella, palmarosa and geranium; it is also made synthetically. It adds a fresh, fruity-floral note to fragrances.

Where it is used

Perfumed products and products with essential oils.
