What it is
Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf/stem extract is an extract of the leaves and stems of jiaogulan, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, a climbing plant of the gourd family (Cucurbitaceae). CosIng lists it as an antioxidant, astringent, emollient and hair-conditioning ingredient.
