What it is
Hamamelis virginiana extract is an extract of the whole plant of witch hazel, Hamamelis virginiana, of the family Hamamelidaceae. CosIng lists it as an anti-sebum, astringent and skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in toners, cleansers, creams, aftershaves and products for oily skin.
