A light, spreadable emollient ester.
What it is
Hexyl Laurate is the ester of hexyl alcohol and lauric acid. CosIng lists it as an emollient and skin conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Used in creams, lotions, sunscreens, makeup and cleansing oils to give a light, non-greasy feel.
