What it is
Hexyldecanol is a branched C16 fatty alcohol (2-hexyldecan-1-ol), a Guerbet alcohol that is liquid at room temperature. CosIng lists it as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Used in creams, lotions, makeup, sun care and hair care products.
