What it is

Hordeum vulgare stem water is, according to CosIng, the aqueous solution of the steam distillates obtained from the stems of barley, Hordeum vulgare, of the grass family (Poaceae). CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.

Where it is used

Found in toners, essences, creams and other water-based skin care products.
