Esters of decyl alcohol and hydrogenated olive oil.
What it is
Hydrogenated olive oil decyl esters are a complex mixture of esters made by reacting decyl alcohol with hydrogenated olive oil. CosIng lists them as emulsion stabilising, film forming and hair conditioning.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions, hair care and makeup.

- Helping the process of emulsification and improving emulsion stability and shelf-life.

- Enhancing the appearance and feel of hair. Leaving the hair easy to comb, supple, soft and shiny and/or imparting volume, lightness, gloss, texture, etc.
