HYDROGENATED PALM GLYCERIDES

Hydrogenated palm glycerides

Hydrogenated palm-oil glycerides used as emollient and emulsifier.

What it is

This ingredient is a mixture of mono-, di- and triglycerides from palm oil that has been hydrogenated. CosIng lists it as emollient, skin conditioning, emulsifying surfactant and viscosity controlling.

Where it is used

Used in creams, lotions, balms and lipsticks to build texture and stabilise emulsions.

Limits of interpretation

The INCI list shows which ingredients are present, not how much of each. Above 1%, ingredients are listed in descending order of weight; below 1% the order is free.

The INCI name does not show whether the palm raw material comes from certified sustainable sources.
