Corn protein broken down into peptides and amino acids.
What it is
Hydrolyzed corn protein is obtained by acidic, alkaline or enzymatic hydrolysis of corn (Zea mays) and consists mainly of amino acids, peptides and proteins. CosIng lists it as antistatic, hair conditioning and skin conditioning.
Where it is used
Found in shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and some skin care.

- Maintaining the skin in good condition.
