A light emollient ester.
What it is
Isodecyl neopentanoate is the ester of isodecyl alcohol and neopentanoic acid (2,2-dimethylpropanoic acid). CosIng lists it as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Used in creams, lotions, sun care, makeup and lip products.
