A light emollient ester with a dry feel.
What it is
Isononyl isononanoate is a branched ester of isononyl alcohol and isononanoic acid (chemically 3,5,5-trimethylhexyl 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoate). CosIng lists it as an antistatic agent, emollient and skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions, foundations, sun care products and hair care products.
