A light, fast-absorbing emollient ester.

What it is

Isopropyl palmitate is an ester of isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid. It reduces the greasy feel of oils and waxes and helps formulas spread evenly.

Where it is used

Found in body lotions, creams, make-up and hair products.
