What it is
Isotridecyl isononanoate is the ester of isotridecyl alcohol and isononanoic acid (3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid), a branched-chain oily liquid. CosIng lists it as an emollient and skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions, sunscreens, makeup and hair care products.
