A fatty acid from coconut and palm kernel oil.
What it is
Lauric acid is a saturated C12 fatty acid found in coconut and palm kernel oil. It is used in cleansers and, when neutralised, forms soap with a quick, bubbly lather.
Where it is used
Found in soaps, cleansing foams and shaving products.
