What it is
Lithothamnion calcareum extract is an extract of a calcified red alga; according to CosIng its accepted scientific name is Phymatolithon calcareum. CosIng lists it as skin conditioning.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, masks and body care, often in products with a marine theme.
