A mineral salt used as a bulking agent and stabiliser.
What it is
Magnesium sulfate is an inorganic salt, known as Epsom salt in its hydrated form. In emulsions it helps stabilise water-in-oil systems; it is also the main ingredient of some bath salts.
Where it is used
Found in bath salts, water-in-oil creams and some cleansers.
