What it is
Malachite extract is obtained from malachite, a green copper carbonate mineral. According to CosIng the stone is ground, dissolved with hydrochloric acid and then neutralised with sodium bicarbonate. CosIng lists it as an antioxidant.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, masks and some makeup products.
