What it is
MDM hydantoin is 1-hydroxymethyl-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, a synthetic hydantoin derivative carrying one hydroxymethyl group. It is a close relative of DMDM hydantoin, which carries two. CosIng lists it as an antimicrobial.

Found in a small number of products.
