A floral water (hydrosol) from peppermint leaves.
What it is
Mentha piperita leaf water is an aqueous solution of the steam distillate obtained from the leaves of peppermint, Mentha piperita. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in toners, face mists, foot care products, hair tonics and deodorants.
Limits of interpretation

It is a different ingredient from peppermint oil, which has its own INCI name.
