Essential oil from peppermint.
What it is
Mentha piperita oil is the essential oil distilled from peppermint. It contains menthol and gives a cooling sensation and minty scent.
Where it is used
Found in toothpastes, mouthwashes, foot creams, shampoos and lip products.
