An organosilicon compound combined with amino acids.
What it is
Methylsilanol hydroxyproline aspartate is an organosilicon compound: according to CosIng, a silanol ester of hydroxyproline reacted with aspartic acid. CosIng lists it as an antistatic and skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, eye creams and some hair care products.
