An interesterified moringa oil product used as a skin-conditioning ingredient.
What it is
Moringa oil/hydrogenated moringa oil esters is the product obtained by interesterification of moringa seed oil, from Moringa pterygosperma (Moringa oleifera), with hydrogenated moringa oil. Interesterification rearranges the fatty acids between the glycerides, giving a material with a softer, butter-like consistency. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in a small number of balms, lip products and other products containing fats.
