Dried skimmed milk, used as a hair- and skin-conditioning ingredient.
What it is
Nonfat dry milk is the solid residue produced by dehydrating skimmed milk; it contains mainly lactose, milk proteins and minerals. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning and skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in masks, bath products, soaps and other products.
Limits of interpretation
The INCI list shows which ingredients are present, not how much of each. Above 1%, ingredients are listed in descending order of weight; below 1% the order is free.
The INCI name does not reveal the animal species, although skimmed milk powder is usually made from cow's milk.

- Maintaining the skin in good condition.
