What it is
Nylon-12 is a synthetic polyamide polymer, used in cosmetics as a fine powder. CosIng lists it for bulking, opacifying and viscosity control.
Where it is used
Found in pressed and loose powders, foundations, primers, eyeshadows and mattifying creams, where it gives a soft, smooth texture.
