What it is
Ocimum basilicum leaf extract is an extract of the leaves of sweet basil, Ocimum basilicum, of the mint family (Labiatae). CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, cleansers, shampoos and other skin and hair care products.
