An ether of panthenol used mainly in hair care.
What it is
Panthenyl ethyl ether is the ethyl ether of panthenol (provitamin B5). CosIng lists it as antistatic and hair conditioning.
Where it is used
Found mostly in shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and leave-in products, and sometimes in skin care.
