What it is
Pentamethylcyclopent-3-ene-butanol is alpha,beta,2,2,3-pentamethylcyclopent-3-ene-1-butanol, a synthetic alcohol with a substituted cyclopentene ring; it belongs to the group of fragrance materials with a sandalwood-type odour. CosIng lists it as a perfuming ingredient.
