A plant oil pressed from avocado fruit.
What it is
Persea gratissima oil is obtained from the flesh of the avocado fruit. It is rich in oleic acid and also contains other fatty acids and unsaponifiable lipids, and it acts as an emollient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, body oils, hair oils, lip care and soaps.
