What it is
Phenylalanine is an aromatic amino acid; CosIng gives the L form as the chemical name. CosIng lists it as hair conditioning, fragrance and skin conditioning.
Where it is used
Found in hair care, creams and serums, often in blends of several amino acids.

- Skin conditioning
- Maintaining the skin in good condition.
