A mild non-ionic surfactant and gelling agent.
What it is
Poloxamer 407 is a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. It acts as a gentle surfactant, solubiliser and gelling agent.
Where it is used
Found in mouthwashes, toothpastes, cleansers and micellar waters.
Limits of interpretation

- Helping suspensions or dispersions of liquids in a second liquid by reducing the surface tension of the substances to be emulsified.
