A synthetic polyester used as a film former.
What it is
Polyester-23 is, according to CosIng, a copolymer formed by esterification of phthalic anhydride with neopentyl glycol, trimethylolpropane and glycidyl decanoate. CosIng lists it as a film-forming agent.
Where it is used
Found mainly in nail polishes and other nail products.
