A polyglycerol ester of ricinoleic acid used as an emulsifier.
What it is
Polyglyceryl-6 ricinoleate is an ester of hexaglycerol (polyglycerin-6) and ricinoleic acid, the main fatty acid of castor oil. CosIng lists it as an emulsifying surfactant.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions and makeup.
