A cellulose-based conditioning polymer.
What it is
Polyquaternium-10 is a cellulose derivative carrying quaternary ammonium groups. It binds to hair and skin, reducing static and tangling and leaving a smoother feel after rinsing.
Where it is used
Common in shampoos, conditioners, styling products and body washes.
Limits of interpretation
