A cationic vinyl polymer used as a film former and hair fixative.
What it is
Polyquaternium-68 is a polymer of vinylpyrrolidone, vinylimidazole and a quaternised vinylimidazolium methyl sulfate, which gives it a positive charge. CosIng lists it as a film-forming and hair-fixing agent.
Where it is used
Found in hair gels, styling creams, mousses and other styling products.
