A soft potassium soap made from coconut fatty acids.
What it is
Potassium cocoate is the potassium salt of coconut acid, the fatty acid mixture derived from coconut oil; chemically it is a soap. CosIng lists it as an emulsifying and cleansing surfactant.
Where it is used
Found in liquid soaps, shower gels, shaving products and other soap-based cleansers.
