What it is
PPG-12 dimethicone is a silicone polymer of dimethicone carrying polypropylene glycol chains with an average of 12 propylene oxide units. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning and skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in hair care and skin care products.
Limits of interpretation

The number 12 is an average; the INCI name does not show the molecular weight of the polymer.
