What it is

PPG-26-buteth-26 is a synthetic polymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide with a butyl ether end group. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning and skin-conditioning agent.

Where it is used

Used in toners, micellar waters, hair products and shower gels, often together with PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil.
