What it is
Propolis extract is, according to CosIng, an extract of propolis wax. Propolis is a resinous material that honeybees collect from plants and use in the hive. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, lip balms, toothpastes, mouthwashes and products for blemish-prone skin.
