What it is

Quaternium-91 is a quaternary imidazolinium methyl sulfate with long C21 and C22 alkyl chains (1-(docosanamidoethyl)-2-heneicosyl-1-methyl-4,5-dihydroimidazolium methyl sulfate). CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning agent.

Where it is used

Found in hair conditioners, hair masks and leave-in hair products.
