What it is
Rheum palmatum root extract is an extract of the roots of Chinese rhubarb, Rheum palmatum, of the knotweed family (Polygonaceae). CosIng lists it as an astringent, skin-conditioning and tonic ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, toners, masks and hair care products.
