What it is

Scutellaria baicalensis root extract is obtained from the roots of Baikal skullcap, Scutellaria baicalensis, a plant of the mint family. CosIng lists it as astringent, humectant and soothing.

Where it is used

Found in face creams, serums, toners, masks and some hair and scalp products.
