What it is
sh-Polypeptide-47 is a single-chain recombinant human peptide produced by fermentation in E. coli. According to CosIng, the starting gene is a synthesised copy of the human gene coding for collagen alpha-1, and the chain contains up to 1464 amino acids. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in serums, ampoules, creams and masks.
