An amphoteric surfactant based on argan oil fatty acids, used for cleansing.
What it is
Sodium arganamphoacetate is, as its name indicates, an amphoteric surfactant of the amphoacetate type made from the fatty acids of argan oil, as a sodium salt. CosIng gives no further description. CosIng lists it as a cleansing and cleansing surfactant ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in a small number of products, such as shampoos and cleansers.
Limits of interpretation
The INCI list shows which ingredients are present, not how much of each. Above 1%, ingredients are listed in descending order of weight; below 1% the order is free.
As a material derived from a natural oil, its fatty acid composition can vary between batches.
