What it is
Sodium cocoate is the sodium salt of coconut oil fatty acids – a soap with a quick, generous lather.
Where it is used
Bar soaps and solid cleansers.
Limits of interpretation
The INCI list shows which ingredients are present, not how much of each. Above 1%, ingredients are listed in descending order of weight; below 1% the order is free.
Soap is alkaline; how drying a bar feels depends on the whole formula.
