SODIUM SULFATE

Sodium sulfate

A salt that adjusts the thickness of cleansers.

What it is

Sodium sulfate is an inorganic salt. It often comes from the manufacture of sulfate surfactants and is also added to adjust viscosity. It is not a surfactant and does not foam.

Despite the similar name, it is not the same as sodium lauryl sulfate.
