What it is
Spirulina platensis powder is, according to CosIng, the powder obtained from the dried, ground cyanobacterium (blue-green alga) Spirulina platensis. CosIng lists it as a skin-protecting ingredient and UV absorber.
Where it is used
Found in masks, creams and other products.
