What it is
Tetrasiloxane is a short linear siloxane; its CAS number corresponds to decamethyltetrasiloxane, which has four silicon atoms. It is a low-viscosity, volatile silicone. CosIng lists it as an antifoaming agent.
Where it is used
Found in hair care products, makeup and skin care products.
