What it is
Tetrasodium tetracarboxymethyl naringeninchalcone is, according to its INCI name, the tetrasodium salt of naringenin chalcone carrying four carboxymethyl groups. Naringenin chalcone is a plant flavonoid compound and the precursor of naringenin; CosIng gives no further description. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning ingredient.
